My Blog Network Setup

So as I said in the previous post, i'm going to build my own blog network.

The way i'm doing it is i'm using WordPress multisite. But i'm also going to link all my blogs together.

I'm linking the websites together using three differnt methods.
1, Global Multisite Recent Post Widget
2. Recent Global Posts Feed
3. The main index page is a directory of all my blogs.

This is only an example. I censored anything that can give away my blog domain.

As you can see the recent posts widget in the sidebar. I have the same widget on every single blog in the network.

Also the home page has links to all of my blogs. I'm using a plugin called "Page Links To" to set the links of the blog.

I modified each theme to my likings. I removed the comments completely on every single theme.(I don't want to have to deal with spam and accepting comments.)

I have also removed the footers to every single blog. I don't the blog network linking to hundreds of domains and giving away linkjuice when it gets big.
